Requirements

• Required certification: ICU
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required 2. Cases: Cardiac Medical ICU - ACS, Acute MI, Cardiogenic Shock, Post interventional cardiac procedure patients, Decompensating heart failure, TAVR 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; AHA Certifications only 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission required 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12's Night shift, 1:2 patient ratios, weekend coverage every other weekend, will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off, RTO required with submission and must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible to be hired as traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start, urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately after booking 12. Modules: 36 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: IABP, Impella, Activated Clotting times, hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT, Vents, EKOS Critical: Must complete fingerprints as soon as contract is signed.
