Position Summary

The Nurse Supervisor oversees daily nursing operations. This role is ideal for a clinically skilled, organized, and empathetic nurse who enjoys leadership, problem-solving, and ensuring compliance with all nursing standards and state/federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff on the unit.

• Oversee resident care planning, assessments, and documentation.

• Ensure adherence to nursing best practices, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, therapists, and social workers.

• Monitor staff performance and assist with coaching, competency checks, and evaluations.

• Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.

• Manage workflow, assignments, and daily coordination of resident care.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure high-quality service and satisfaction.

• Assist with staff scheduling and coverage as needed.

• Participate in audits, quality assurance activities, and care meetings.

Qualifications:

• RN license in TN.

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care strongly preferred.

• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to resident-centered care.

Salary/ Wage Range

Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
