Job Title: Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Foreman to oversee welding, pipe fitting, and material handling tasks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in welding techniques, pipe fitting, and material handling, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct welding tests on 3" sch. 10 Stainless Steel and pass a 2" carbon monster coupon in the 6G position.
• Perform GTAW (TIG) welding and additional testing in GMAW and FCAW on 6" carbon pipe in the 6G position.
• Read and interpret welding symbols and WPS documents accurately.
• Weld carbon steel and stainless steel with precision.
• Demonstrate proven experience in fitting carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping.
• Assist with pipe grinding, cutting, beveling, shipping, loading/unloading, and material handling using stand jacks, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Pass a 2" monster coupon test in the 6G position and perform root and fill to flush welding.
• Assist fitters with pipe and fitting preparation.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in GTAW (TIG), GMAW, and FCAW welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and WPS documents.
• Experience with welding carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Proven experience in fitting various types of piping including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy.
• Capability to operate stand jacks, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts for material handling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Construction, installation, and fabrication experience.
• Strong leadership capabilities, especially in high-pressure pipe shop environments.

This is a Contract position based out of Duncan, SC.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
