Software Development Manager

Salary: $125,000 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• We need at least 7 years of experience developing .NET software, with deep expertise in C++ and/or C#.
• We require 3 or more years of experience leading teams in a direct management or technical leadership capacity.
• We are looking for experience building software for industrial or manufacturing environments, including integration with cameras, sensors, and other external hardware.
• We expect strong knowledge of software architecture, design principles, patterns, and best practices across the full development lifecycle.
• We value hands-on experience with vision systems and image processing libraries, especially OpenCV.
• We prefer candidates who can develop image analysis methods to identify defects and inconsistencies in glass products.
• We need expertise in parallel and asynchronous programming, including multithreading and concurrency for real-time data processing.
• We consider familiarity with WinForms or web development frameworks to be an advantage.
• We value experience with cloud-connected industrial systems or IoT platforms.
• We require excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams and customers.
• We are seeking strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
• We strongly prefer experience with image processing and computer vision techniques.
• We expect a proven ability to engage directly with customers to understand requirements and application use cases.

• We collaborate closely with product managers, hardware engineers, and quality assurance specialists.
• We mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of ongoing learning and improvement.
• We work directly with customers and end users to gather requirements, understand field applications, and deliver responsive technical support for our installed base.
• We contribute hands-on development while also guiding technical strategy as a player-coach leader.
