Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts, 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a multi-specialty ICU setting, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and their families
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
• Update and manage patient records accurately and in a timely manner
• Enter and interpret computerized data and clinical information
• Assist the leadership team with quality improvement projects as needed; may be required to float to Med/Surg when necessary

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an ICU setting with multispecialty exposure (CCU, SICU, MICU, Neuro, or CT ICU)
• Nursing degree: Diploma or ASN required
• Active Massachusetts RN License
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required
• Telemetry experience required; must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across care teams
• Basic computer proficiency with experience entering and interpreting clinical data
