**This is an On-Call/PRN position**Pay: $3.00 per hour on-call PLUS $30.00 per deliveryWant to earn extra cash and make a difference in someone's life? In this position, you will be responsible for efficient and friendly delivery service and equipment training to customers in their home, as well as being responsible for safeguarding company assets while in your care. Our drivers are the "face of Alpine Home Medical" to our customers, clients, and care facilities, so exceptions customer service skills are an essential aspect of this role. On occasion, may fill in doing customer service at our store.What You'll Do in This Role:Providing an exceptional customer experience by ensuring the customer is always the priorityDelivering home medical equipment, and picking up equipment in a timely mannerEducating customers on the use of home medical equipmentDriving safely and defensively, making sure to obey all traffic lawsCleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining rental equipmentMaintaining the cleanliness of warehouse and delivery vehicleResponsible for observing confidentiality at all timesAdhering to all company policyPerforming these and other functions as directed by managementWhat We'll Need from You:Clean driving recordStrong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate and share information with a diverse group of customers and peersA resourceful self-starter able to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesWorks well independently, as well as part of a teamBe a cooperative team member with a positive attitudeAbility to respond to customer questions and concerns with a friendly, committed attitudeA High school diploma or a G.E.D.There Will Also be Some Physical Requirements:Reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stoopingFrequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including POS system and ability to process register transactionsFrequently lift/move up to 65lbs
