Responsibilities

• Assist students, alumni, parents, faculty, and staff who contact or visit the office by responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments, directing visitors to resources in the office, and seeking assistance from advisors as needed.
• Assist in overseeing a team of student employees, including the hiring process.
• Maintain students' electronic and paper records with a high degree of confidentiality and maintains the resources and reference materials available in the office and online.
• Support advisors with professional school application related materials and processes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required, bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills to interact with students, alumni, staff, faculty, prospective families, and any guests.
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain discretion.
• Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve issues, and when necessary, to take initiative to answer questions and to follow up on concerns.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks amidst frequent interruptions.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Zoom (web conferencing), online scheduling and productivity systems (e.g. Handshake, Blackboard, Appointy, Canva), website maintenance (WordPress), and cloud-based software systems such as Google Workspace, and/or the ability to learn new technologies quickly and efficiently.
