Responsibilities Treat and prevent minor injuries and illnesses, ensuring all medical clinical care is provided to students. Provide information and guidance for the promotion of good health and well‑being of students. Provide nursing care to students as authorized by the medical provider and within the scope of the state‑specific nurse practice act. Supervise staff LPNs/LVNs to assure compliance with all state regulations and scope of practice for practical and/or vocational nurses. Provide basic health care to students as required by DOL, including all entry requirements and immunizations. Monitor students with illness who are unable to attend class. Qualifications Valid, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment; must have CPR and BLS certification. Experience working with youth in a paid or unpaid capacity preferred.
