Legal Support Specialist

We are seeking a Legal Support Specialist to support our Litigation Automation Initiative.

In this role, you will initially complete repetitive legal and administrative tasks that have been identified for future automation. These tasks help move cases through established processes and allow attorneys to focus on higher-value legal work.

As new automation solutions, AI-powered workflows, and legal technology tools are developed, your role will evolve to include testing, validating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving those solutions to ensure they work accurately and effectively.

This is an independent role under the direction of the project leader. It is not part of a traditional legal team, and the specific tasks may change as processes are improved and automated.

**What You’ll Do**

* Complete recurring legal and administrative tasks for multiple cases and attorneys.
* Follow documented workflows, checklists, and quality-control requirements.
* Review work carefully for accuracy and completeness.
* Track completed work and maintain clear records.
* Identify process exceptions, errors, or areas for improvement.
* Escalate unusual situations or workflow issues to the project leader.
* Assist with testing bots, AI agents, and other automated workflows.
* Validate automation results and document errors or unexpected outcomes.
* Monitor automated processes and assist with troubleshooting.
* Provide feedback that helps improve processes and automation tools.
* Handle occasional email or mail correspondence.
* Adapt to new responsibilities as manual tasks become automated.

**What to Expect**

* The role will begin with structured, process-driven work while automation solutions are being developed.
* This is a full-time position requiring 8 working hours per day during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
* You will work primarily independently rather than supporting a single attorney or legal team.
* The project leader will provide priorities, workflows, and guidance.
* Client communication will be minimal.
* Phone communication will be limited.
* As automation expands, your role will shift toward supporting, improving, and maintaining automated processes.

**Compensation and Payment**

The compensation range for this position is $8–$9 per hour. Working hours will be recorded through Hubstaff, and payments will be issued through Payoneer.

**Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
* Ability to follow written instructions and established processes.
* Comfortable completing repetitive tasks consistently.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
* Clear written communication skills.
* Comfortable learning new systems and technology.
* Interest in automation, artificial intelligence, or process improvement.
* Legal, administrative, operations, data-processing, or quality-assurance experience is preferred but not required.
