Registered Nurse – Nursing

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field
• EPIC experience: Required

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment.
• Collect and analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Develop and implement nursing plans and interventions to attain desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote a safe and healing environment.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide learning opportunities and health information to patients and families.
