Intellectual Property Associate Attorney (Trademark & Copyright)Direct Counsel is seeking a mid-level Intellectual Property Associate to join an Am Law 100 firm in New York.This is an excellent opportunity for a 3–6 year associate attorney with experience in trademark, copyright, or trade secret litigation to support a busy docket of high-profile, high-stakes district court and appellate matters. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent advocacy skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting trademark, copyright, and trade secret litigation in federal and state courtsDrafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and discovery requestsConducting legal research and analysis on complex IP mattersPreparing briefs and appellate filings for high-stakes litigationAdvising clients on IP enforcement and risk mitigation strategiesAssisting with case management and client communicationsCollaborating with senior attorneys on strategic litigation planningQualifications3–6 years of experience in IP litigation, including trademark, copyright, or trade secret mattersSuperior academic credentialsStrong oral advocacy, writing, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced litigation environmentCompensationThe expected salary range for this position is $260,000 – $390,000, depending on experience and qualifications.The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance401(k) savings planBackup childcare and eldercareProfessional development and mentorship opportunitiesLong-term growth within a nationally recognized IP litigation platform
