General DescriptionProvides courteous and professional teller service to customers. Completes transactions accurately and efficiently according to established policies and procedures. Identify referral opportunities and make appropriate suggestions that best meet the customers needs. Consistently seek to delight our customers by friendliness, including learning our customers and addressing them by name. Reliable attendance is critical.RESPONSIBILITIESProcesses transactions accurately and efficientlySmiles and greet customers, demonstrates good customer service skillsIdentify customer needs, and strive to meet those needs or direct customer to someone that canControls teller cash drawer limitsFollow bank security policies and procedures such as opening and closing procedures and maintaining alarm codes and functionsMaintains an acceptable over/short differenceCashes checks within assigned limitsAccepts deposit withdrawals and paymentsIssues official checksRedeems savings bondsProcess night deposits under dual controlUses a personal computer to enter customer transactions and look up customer informationBack up Head Teller as needed with ATM, Vault, and Cash shipmentsBack up Customer Service Representative as neededMaintains knowledge of bank products, policies, and proceduresKeeps up to date with required Compliance courses and appropriate testsFollows proper procedures to comply with BSA, including but not limited to OFAC scans and CTR filingsFills in as needed at other CBC locationsThe above requirements may be changed or updated by management at any timeAll personnel of Commercial Banking Company are committed to the Bank Secrecy Act policies and procedures in order to assist in detecting and preventing money laundering and other illegal activities from being conducted through our bank.
