Transaction Monitoring Analyst

As a Transaction Monitoring Analyst working remotely on a full-time basis, the candidate will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and mitigating financial crime risks associated with both fiat and cryptocurrency transactions, while collaborating with the Compliance team to enhance monitoring controls and ensure regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities Develop and implement transaction monitoring algorithms to identify compliance risks, including money laundering and terrorist financing Analyze alerts from the transaction monitoring system and escalate urgent cases according to risk appetite Assist in creating reports that highlight anomalies related to money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions for compliance leadership Required qualifications Experience in the compliance field, particularly related to AML/KYC/CTF regulations Basic knowledge of blockchain technology and experience with transaction monitoring tools such as Chainalysis or Elliptic University degree in a relevant field CAMS/CBP designation is preferred Ability to communicate effectively in various languages and formats
