Travel RN – Wound Care

Location: Los Angeles, California

Weekly Pay: 

• Local Candidates: $2,300 – $2,360 Weekly Gross
• Travel Candidates: $2,400 – $2,500 Weekly Gross

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at a leading medical center in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong wound care experience, wound certification credentials, and the ability to provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized wound care assessment, treatment, and patient education
• Develop and implement wound care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Monitor wound healing progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Perform wound dressing changes and support prevention strategies for pressure injuries and skin breakdown
• Educate patients, families, and staff regarding wound management and prevention techniques
• Maintain compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
• Float within scope and facility policy as required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Wound Care RN experience required
• Active California RN License required (No EMSA accepted)
• BLS Certification required
• Completion of accredited Enterostomal Therapy Training Program required
• One of the following certifications preferred/required:
  • WCN
  • WOCN
  • WCC
  • CWS
  • CWCN
  • CWOCN
