Job Summary Instructional Faculty – Temporary/Lecturer (Part‑time, On‑site, Monterey Bay, Central California) Responsibilities Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and student success at the university level. Lecturers will maintain additional hours outside the classroom to provide assistance to students. Specific assignments will depend on department needs; applicants may be called upon to teach in a distance education mode. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree or equivalent in clinical psychology, social psychology, experimental psychology, biological psychology, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Terminal degree and evidence of effective teaching across a variety of courses with a variety of methodologies (e.g., active learning techniques, team‑based learning, outcome‑based learning). Demonstrated understanding and commitment to CSUMB's Vision. Special Conditions of Employment All offers contingent upon successful completion of a background check. Duty to report Title IX information to the Campus Title IX Officer. Compliance with CSU Executive Orders EO 1095, EO 1096, EO 1097. Maintain confidentiality as per Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and California Code §13. Work in the State of California is a condition of employment. Compensation Monthly base salaries are prorated by units worked and paid in six monthly payments per semester.
