Kentucky Licensed Medical Coder

To support revenue integrity efforts, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Medical Coder will review, analyze, and code diagnostic and procedural information using ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines while working remotely. Key responsibilities Review and code diagnostic and procedural information for reimbursement using ICD-10-CM and CPT codes Query physicians for accurate diagnoses and resolve any ambiguous information to ensure precise coding Adhere to organizational documentation policies and coding guidelines to meet established coding standards Required qualifications One year of hospital coding experience in a healthcare setting Certification as CCA, CCS, CIC-ICD, COC, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT
