Custodian

Custodian Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented First Shift Custodian to join our team in Quakertown, PA. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized shop and facility environment. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate strong attendance, and prioritize safety in all duties.

Location: Quakertown, PA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize floors, surfaces, and equipment throughout the shop, including sweeping and mopping
• Maintain cleanliness in shop and machine areas to ensure a well-maintained workspace
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly while adhering to recycling practices
• Replenish supplies in lunchroom areas and perform basic coffee machine maintenance as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals
• Assist with building wooden skids in the maintenance shop
• Support the maintenance department with various projects as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Safety-oriented mindset with the ability to follow established procedures
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Forklift experience preferred (not required)
