Maintenance Tech

The maintenance technician will work with the team to troubleshoot production issues, provide preventative maintenance to equipment and repairs as needed . Duties/Responsibilities: * Perform preventative maintenance on equipment (Air Compressor, Rolling Stock, Production Machinery, HVAC, plumbing, etc.) * Able to troubleshoot machinery/reading schematics. * Perform timely repairs on hand tools as needed (e.g. drills, saws). * Communicate needs with purchasing department proactively. * Repair/rebuild welding leads. * Use knowledge to perform maintenance during production when there is an issue as needed. * Practice proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures if applicable. * Fill Loctite cartridges for departments as needed. * Store tools and materials in proper locations when not in use. * Maintain clean and safe work area. Required Skills/Abilities: * Prior experience working preventative maintenance in a manufacturing facility. * Electrical background helpful. * Use various power and hand tools, experience required. * Able to read and use a tape measure. * Read and follow work instructions. * Able to work 40 - 60 hours a week. * Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. * Good attendance is a must. Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting. * Must be able to move up to 75 pounds at times. * Follow health and safety rules. * Wear PPE as required.
