We’re seeking a seasoned Air Quality Project Director to join our high-performing environmental consulting team. This is a remote position open to experienced professionals with a proven track record in client development, project delivery, and technical leadership.

As a key player in our growth strategy, you’ll blend technical expertise with entrepreneurial drive—bringing a strong book of business , deep client relationships, and a passion for delivering environmental solutions across permitting, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical and project management support throughout all phases of client engagements.
• Meet or exceed annual net revenue targets of $500K+ with profit margins of 20% or greater.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, manage key client accounts, and ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables.
• Support and develop junior staff while contributing to the strategic direction of the practice.
• Collaborate with firm leadership and the business development team to expand service offerings and market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, with demonstrated client development success.
• Professional licensure or certification (e.g., PE) is strongly preferred.
• Expertise in federal and state air quality regulations; experience with the refining, chemical, or oil & gas industries is a plus.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, or equivalent platforms.
• Established relationships with Fortune 1000 clients, legal counsel, and/or developers in alignment with our core practice areas.
