The Front-End Lead delegates to, motivates, trains and mentors Front End Cashiers to promote their development. Reports to the Dry Market Manager. Handles monetary transactions and performs advanced cashiering duties Assists in supervising the Front-End team to ensure optimal performance and guest experience Approves voids, employee discounts, returns and exchanges Processes and settles daily cash and credit transactions for all departments Processes and prepares shipment of daily cash deposits Documents and communicates overages, shortages, sales data and technical or price discrepancies, communicating issues to the appropriate managers and departments Processes and monitors currency orders to ensure that cash is always available for transactions Maintains an accurate safe count along with daily operation and maintenance of a cash recycling machine Orders and monitors inventory of supplies needed for the Front End Documents, investigates, escalates and resolves employee or guest incidents Coordinates catering sheets between multiple departments Handles online order fulfillment and delivery coordination using existing platforms Performs other duties as required or assigned Qualifications 1+ year of experience as a supervisor in a retail setting, with experience leading a cashier team preferred Ability to handle money accurately and perform mathematical equations Intermediate computer skills including e-mail and Microsoft Office Bachelor's Degree highly preferred Job Requirements Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including weekends Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting Compensation Compensation for this position is USD $22.00-$24.00 hourly Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave RRSP Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine Referral bonus program and more!
