As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and directing daily events and programming for our residents. Responsibilities Assist in planning and coordinating events and activity programming Build relationships with residents to understand their interests and tailor programing to their desires Organize group and individual activities, including arts & crafts, performances, and other events Generate creative ideas to excite and encourage residents to participate in programming Encourage residents to engage in activities that promote physical, mental, social, and spiritual well‑being Document and report any unusual or significant findings Report all reportable events immediately Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must be at least 18 years old Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with residents of varying maturity levels and needs Knowledge of the Privacy Rule and ability to ensure compliance with facility privacy practices, policies and procedures Ability to participate in continuing education and in‑service training #J-18808-Ljbffr Aperion Care
