Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU Neuro

Location

Madison, WI

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend and Some Holidays Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a Neuro specialty focus
• Work with both ICU and IMC patient populations as needed
• Float to other units as required based on staffing needs
• Accurately monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Document patient care and clinical findings using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the submitting specialty
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with strict criteria for lethal rhythm identification)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neurosurgery experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or IMC setting
