The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong mechanical aptitude, and demonstrate a commitment to quality and efficiency. As a Production Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the assembly process, contributing to the production of our top-tier products.**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**- Completes work area setup.- Perform assembly operations in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.- Utilize hand and power tools to assemble parts and sub-assemblies.- Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label, and band components finished product.- Ensures work area is safe, clean, and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.- Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns.- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.- Maintains production records as required.- Inspect finished products for defects or irregularities and make necessary adjustments to be compliant with standards.- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.- Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.- Participates in safety, CI, and other training programs and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.- Performs other duties as assigned.**Qualifications**- High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.- Proven experience in assembly or a related field preferred.- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.- Working knowledge of basic math- Must be at least 18 years of age.**Benefits**- Production bonuses based on individual performance and hard work.- Competitive compensation package, with opportunity to make $18+ per hour.- Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and retirement plans.- Opportunities for career advancement and professional development- Yearly profit-sharing bonuses- Positive and collaborative work environmentJoin our team at UFP Auburndale and be part of a company that values and rewards your hard work and dedication.
