Physician (Rheumatology)

Job Overview West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine, Section of Rheumatology seek an Academic Rheumatologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. Practice location: Morgantown, WV with possible additional work sites in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Duties Provide full range of outpatient and inpatient Rheumatology care. Teach medical students, residents, and fellows. Participate in quality improvement and research as eligible. Potential for grant support within the Division to sponsor career interests. May provide services outside Morgantown via in-person or telemedicine to improve access for rural populations. Qualifications MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent. Eligible to obtain a state medical license. Completed an accredited internal medicine residency program. Completed a rheumatology fellowship. Board eligible or board certified in rheumatology. All qualifications met by the time of appointment. Schedule 40 weekly hours. Exempt.
