Key Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Prior experience as an RN in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with legal and ethical responsibilities as an RN
• Solid understanding of childhood development and school health needs
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold privacy regulations
• CPR and First Aid certification

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, first aid, and urgent assistance to students and staff during school hours
• Administer medications and manage chronic health conditions according to individualized care plans
• Collaborate with school administration, faculty, and families to promote a healthy school environment
• Monitor, document, and communicate health concerns in compliance with legal and school guidelines
• Conduct health screenings and participate in the development of health education programs
• Ensure accurate maintenance of health records and required reports
• Serve as a health advocate and resource for students, parents, and staff
