Senior Marketing Manager
Our client, a growing manufacturer of industrial and packaging products, is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to provide strategic leadership in market analysis, product commercialization, branding, and customer engagement. This role will drive both short-term revenue opportunities and long-term growth strategies, serving as the bridge between market opportunities, product development, sales growth, and customer engagement.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives and growth initiatives
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback collection to identify growth opportunities
- Identify new markets, applications, products, and customer segments to drive business diversification
- Lead brand strategy and develop messaging that communicates the company's value proposition
- Own go-to-market (GTM) strategy and develop integrated marketing plans supporting product launches
- Lead cross-functional product launch initiatives ensuring successful market adoption
- Develop and execute digital marketing, content marketing, trade show, and lead generation campaigns
- Create sales tools, presentations, and collateral that empower the sales team
- Support customer acquisition, retention, and growth through strategic marketing programs
- Partner with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Leadership to align strategies and achieve business objectives
- Establish KPIs, monitor marketing effectiveness, and provide data-driven recommendations
- Develop and manage marketing budgets to maximize ROI
- Lead, coach, and develop marketing team members
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial products, packaging, or related B2B environments (plastic packaging preferred)
- Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, demand generation, and strategic business development
- Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and product launch initiatives
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills across all levels of an organization
- Ability to translate technical product features into compelling, customer-focused value propositions
- Experience leading and developing marketing teams
- Strong analytical, financial, and project management skills
- Data-driven decision-making experience, including measuring campaign effectiveness and marketing ROI
