If you're looking to grow your career with a company that values excellence and integrity, we'd love to have you join our team.Position SummaryAs a Manufacturing Engineer at Yellowfin Yachts LLC., you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of our manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, design, and quality assurance to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize our manufacturing operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to production teams, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective actions to ensure smooth operationsCollaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new boat designs and facilitate seamless transition to productionDevelop work instructions, bill of materials (BOMs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manufacturing guidelines to maintain consistency and quality in production processesAnalyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectivenessWork closely with other facilities to create alignment between processes and proceduresDevelop and implement innovative solutions to streamline production workflows and minimize cycle timesUtilize lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and optimize resource utilizationImplement quality control measures to ensure adherence to specifications and standardsConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsCollaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to evaluate suppliers and ensure qualityDrive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliersChampion safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulationsConduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measuresMaintain current knowledge about industry trends and regulatory changesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field required.Proven experience in manufacturing engineering.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and production technologies.Proficiency in CAD, PLM, and ERP systems.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement (Six Sigma preferred).Understanding of regulatory and quality standardsEqual Opportunity EmployerYellowfin Yachts is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
