Basic Functions: Responsible for providing temporary clerical and administrative support by organizing records, entering data, maintaining files, and performing general office duties while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. 

** Temporary Position **

Monday through Friday (Normal Business Hours - 40 Hours per week)

 

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Assembles, analyzes, and scans all discharged medical records

• Ensure that providers have completed and signed all orders and notes

• Maintains confidentiality of all information concerning patients and facility affairs

• Prepares correspondence and reports

• Accurately enter and retrieve information from the EMR

• Accurately assembles, scans, and analyzes paper sections of the medical record

• Answers phone and responds to inquiries 

• Uses Excel to enter data related to department quality improvement projects

• Perform other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned 

 

Qualifications:  

• High School graduate or equivalent 

• Experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities related to the position 

Physical Demands : Sitting for extended periods, occasional standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25–35 pounds.
