Job Opportunity: Advanced Imaging Cardiologist

The Division of Cardiology at our organization is looking for an Advanced Imaging Cardiologist to become part of a dynamic, high-volume clinical and academic program. This position provides a chance to collaborate with esteemed professionals utilizing cutting-edge technology to offer cardiovascular diagnostics throughout the Chicagoland region in a supportive and growth-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on advanced imaging techniques, including echocardiography (with TEE), MRI, CT, and/or nuclear cardiology.
• Hold an academic appointment with opportunities to educate and mentor cardiology fellows.
• Expand and develop the practice with an established patient base.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and create personalized treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide top-tier, evidence-based care.
• Encourage preventive cardiology and enhance overall patient health through education.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Cardiology Fellowship and Board Eligibility.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases.
• Possession of an Illinois medical license at the time of appointment.
• Advanced training in cardiovascular imaging with Level III certification in one or more of the following: Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CT), and Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CMR).
• Required experience or training in Nuclear Cardiology, TEE, CT, and Cardiac MRI.
• Additional training, interest, or experience in acute care cardiology and/or cardiac critical care is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Attractive starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945.
