Make a daily difference supporting students and educators as a valued paraprofessional in a thriving school environment near Roseville, CA. This contract position offers the chance to foster growth, encourage learning, and provide essential assistance to teachers and pupils alike.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Prior experience in a classroom, school, or child-centered setting preferred
- Familiarity with learning strategies, behavioral support, or special education helpful
- Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with flexible attitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in lesson delivery, activities, and instructional reinforcement
- Assist students individually or in small groups to promote understanding and engagement
- Help implement accommodations and modifications per education plans
- Supervise students during classroom transitions, meals, and recreational periods
- Monitor behavior and encourage positive social interactions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and staff to foster a supportive educational space
