If you’re a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences, we want you on our team!As a Bartender in a distillery setting, you will not only serve craft cocktails and beverages but also educate guests on our production process, flavors, and unique spirit offerings. It will be your mission to create memories by way of exceptional experiences for all guests to keep them coming back.Primary Responsibilities:Verify identification and age requirements of customersEnforce company policies and state laws regarding the consumption of alcoholTake drink and food orders with a positive and helpful attitudeServe guests alcoholic and nonalcoholic beveragesOpen and maintain tabs throughout your shiftEnter food / beverage orders, prepare checks and collect paymentsAssess guests’ needs and preferences to make recommendationsReplenish and restock bar inventoryWash and maintain clean glassware at all timesHave an in-depth knowledge of the craft beer, wine, and cocktails servedAlways be focused on crafting the best guest experienceComply with all food and beverage regulationsBuild rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphereBe guest oriented and a positive representative of Trattoria VillagioRequirements:Prior bartending experience requiredExcellent understanding of whiskey, gin, vodka, and/or other spirits, including tasting, mixing, and pairingA professional, energetic, and positive attitude and team player mindsetAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as taking orders, mixing drinks, and managing transactions.Experience using a POS systemAbility to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environmentBasic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bankEducation/Training/Experience:High School diploma or GED required2+ years’ experience as a bartender or in a distillery or brewery tasting room is preferredMust obtain and maintain Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification upon employmentPhysical Demands:Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditionsComfortable lifting up to 25 lbs and moving quickly in a dynamic environmentBalancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.Benefits We Offer:Competitive pay based on experience401(k) with employer matchingHealth, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid time off and employee discountsA collaborative and supportive work environment with room for professional growth.Villagio Hospitality Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
