Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Location: Northeast Kingdom, Vermont

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 7pm - 7am, three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Job Description: Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) providing exceptional patient care for both adult and occasional pediatric patients. In this role, you will coordinate comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care within our general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals to meet the diverse needs of our patient population while utilizing the innovative Nursing Process for critical decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver holistic nursing care addressing patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
• Coordinate care in collaboration with the Unit Director and Clinical Nurse Lead.
• Utilize the Nursing Process for efficient patient assessment and critical decision-making.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• At least 3 years of acute care experience; preference for Meditech experience.
• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
