Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse - Full-Time Days

Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care in an acute care setting within a 38-bed unit specializing in medicine, handling patients with diverse clinical issues such as blood disorders, endocrine conditions, heart and kidney failures, infections, and respiratory illnesses. The role emphasizes promoting patient-centered care, educating patients and families on managing health conditions, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. Responsibilities Include Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Assessing physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs using critical nursing skills, respecting patient preferences and cultural values. Participating in professional development and quality improvement activities. Utilizing communication and teamwork to ensure continuity of care across settings. Qualifications And Skills Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree and RN licensure. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience. Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
