Job Title: Machine Operator / Line Lead Location: Dearborn, MI Job Type: Full-Time Shift Availability:1st Shift – 6am-2302nd Shift – 3:55 StartPay Rate:$20.00/hour for Day Shift$20.00/hour + $1.00 Shift Premium for Night ShiftPrimary Purpose & FunctionCardinal Staffing is seeking experienced Machine Operators and Line Leads to join our Packaging Department. This position is responsible for supporting daily production operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and assisting production teams in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Candidates must have previous machine operation and/or production line leadership experience and be comfortable working in cold and wet conditions. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Operate packaging and production machinery safely and efficiently Lead and support production team members to achieve daily production goals Complete daily paperwork and tablet-based production reporting accurately Monitor product quality and ensure food safety standards are maintained Assist with troubleshooting minor machine and production issues Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow all company safety procedures and GMP/food safety guidelines Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members throughout the shift Support production flow and packaging operations as needed Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of machine operation and/or production line leadership experience required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to accurately complete digital and written production documentation Comfortable using tablets, digital forms, and production systems Strong communication and leadership abilities Ability to work in a cold, wet manufacturing environment for extended periods Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required Ability to stand for up to 10-hour shifts Requirements Reliable transportation required Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check Must follow all food safety and company procedures at all times About Cardinal Staffing At Cardinal Staffing, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
