Warehouse Associate

Job Responsibilities: Perform an array of functions accurately and efficiently that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Duties:

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise accurately
• Prepares orders by processing orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; wrapping pallets as needed and placing orders in delivery area
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Maintains inventory controls
• May assist in counting of physical inventory
• Prepare parcels for shipment
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping work area clean and organized. Sweep, dust and mop as required
• Hand unload, sort, and segregate product from inbound ocean containers
• Operate various warehouse equipment safely and efficiently

Skills and Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred
• Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
• Dependable and reliable
• Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
