Associate Veterinarian

Job Description

Job Description

Want a role where you can build lasting client relationships while still using your skills to handle urgent medical needs?
This full-time opportunity in South Jersey combines general practice with urgent care, giving you the chance to help shape an expanding service while practicing a broad range of veterinary medicine.

As the general practice side grows, you'll have an opportunity to establish ongoing relationships with pet owners while remaining part of a setting that also addresses patients who need timely care.

What Could Make This a Better Move

• Enjoy variety in your day. Balance preventive visits and routine medical care with urgent cases that require timely assessment.

• Help build something new. Contribute to the growth of general practice services within an established urgent care setting.

• Develop long-term client relationships. Get to know patients and their families beyond a single visit.

• Keep your earning potential open. The compensation model includes base salary plus production opportunities, without negative accrual.

• Work toward continuity of care. The combined model creates opportunities to support pets through both routine and unexpected health needs.

• Access broader professional resources. Eligible team members have access to educational and operational support to help them develop in their roles.

What You'll Be Doing

This small-animal opportunity combines general practice and urgent care. Clinical work includes wellness visits, sick-patient appointments, diagnostics, and other routine veterinary services alongside urgent medical presentations. The expanding general practice component offers room to help establish ongoing care relationships while continuing to work in urgent care.

This role may appeal to a veterinarian who enjoys a varied caseload, likes balancing preventive medicine with more immediate patient needs, and wants to contribute to a growing service.
