Healthcare employer in Tucson, AZ seeks to hire an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner. This is a full-time position for a new grad or an experienced candidate possessing prior cardiology or ICU experience in a group or hospital setting.

Work with collaborating and supervisory physicians. This is a hybrid position involving both clinic and hospital rounding duties. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree with a major in nursing from a State Board of Nursing approved school of nursing with satisfactory completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Current AZ license highly preferred. Certified as Nurse Practitioner by the State Board of Nursing.

Experience Requirements:

• FNP, PA or ACNP with Cardiology Experience preferred but not required
• NP Board Certification
• Active AZ license or willing to apply

Position Highlights:

• Full time -40 hours per week
• Monday- Friday -Outpatient Clinic Setting
• Benefits Package available

• Hybrid Position-Clinic and Hospital Rounding
• Take call with Cardiologist - 1:4 weekends once acclimated
• EMR: ECW in clinics; Cerner is EMR at the hospital
• Service large patient base
• Work out of two offices

This position includes a competitive compensation and full benefits. In addition. here they offer educational expenses: $2,000.00 of continuing medical education expenses per calendar year, and three (3) days of PTO to attend educational meetings.
