Radiology Technologist

River Hospital is seeking a Radiographic Technologist to work full-time in our Radiology Department.

Job Purpose

Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with approvedtechniques and standards as established by radiologists governing and professional bodies. Operates radiographic equipment to obtain optimumimages to aid in the diagnosis of disease and or to measure the progress ofdisease. Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a technologist.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• One full year experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferred
• Cross trainedin CTpreferred but not required, will train in house
• Valid New York State radiology registration as required by law
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to become certified onsite within 60 days of hire)
