Shop Helpers Needed – Manufacturing / Production
Location: Upland, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:45 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Shop Helpers to support daily manufacturing and production operations at a local industrial facility in Upland, CA.
This is an entry-level position for individuals who are comfortable working with their hands, following detailed instructions, and working in a professional shop environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist production and shop personnel with daily manufacturing tasks.
- Load, unload, move, and organize parts and materials.
- Prepare and clean parts prior to processing.
- Assist with masking, labeling, packaging, and handling parts.
- Perform basic visual inspections and quality checks.
- Count, identify, sort, and organize parts according to work instructions.
- Use basic hand tools and shop equipment as trained.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Perform other general shop and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing, production, or machine shop experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be willing to follow strict safety and quality procedures.
- Must be able to successfully complete any required screening or hiring requirements associated with the position.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to applicable contractual/export-control requirements
