Mechanical Drafter/Designer

Job Description The Mechanical design/drafting position will be responsible to create detailed design drawings and related specifications of mechanical/electrical equipment according to engineering sketches, specifications, and related data/drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts. *This would include foundations, steel structures, refractories, Piping and Ductwork systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs basic and complex layouts from information specified by others. Responsible for as-built drawings at the end of a project. Performs detailed dimensional and bill of material check of all drawings. Collaboration with other disciplines to create layouts and detail drawings Assists the Job leaders in determining how to best to meet job requirements. Assists other project disciplines with questions/issues during the project work. Checks entire job for interferences and constructability.
