Field Supervisor

Job Description

The Field Supervisor will oversee day-to-day Construction Materials Testing (CMT) field operations on large commercial and data center construction projects throughout West Texas. This person will serve as the primary point of contact for field technicians, helping coordinate manpower, schedules, testing activities, and daily jobsite needs while keeping project leadership informed.

Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and provide day-to-day direction to CMT field technicians • Coordinate technician schedules, jobsite assignments, and daily field coverage • Serve as the first point of contact for field questions, issues, and changing project needs • Support crews performing construction materials testing and inspection activities • Help troubleshoot field issues and ensure technicians have the information and resources needed to complete their work • Coordinate closely with the Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager, communicating field progress, staffing needs, scheduling changes, and upcoming work • Help plan ahead for manpower and testing needs based on the construction schedule • Provide onsite leadership for large projects that may have approximately 6–16 CMT technicians assigned to a site • Maintain strong communication with technicians, contractors, project teams, and internal leadership • Help ensure field activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements • Support large-scale commercial and data center construction projects across the West Texas region

Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the construction materials testing field
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Tech certification
• 1+ year of field supervisory experience
• ICC Certifications
• NICET Level II certifications
• NDT certifications: (UT, MT, PT, RT, VT)
• Nuclear Gauge certifications
