We are currently searching for DOT certified trailer mechanics, and HM183 registered inspectors at our Port Allen location! Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Pay Range: $24.00 to $38.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months. Responsibilities and Qualifications Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas: DOT Registered Inspector with HM-183 certification and ability to effectively and efficiently inspect ISO tanks and tank trailers to align with DOT standards (Preferred) Experience with ABS The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
