Our kindergarten is a private bilingual institution dedicated to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for young children aged from 2.5 to 6 years old.

The Role of the Teacher

At our kindergarten, our teachers play a pivotal role in crafting a learning environment that prioritizes the happiness, safety, and comfort of every child. Our primary objective is to instill a love for learning by developing engaging lessons that place children at the forefront of their educational journeys, sparking their imaginations.

We offer two distinct types of classes: international and bilingual, each tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. International teachers are dedicated to a single class for the entire day, fostering deep connections with the children. Bilingual teachers, on the other hand, guide two classes per day, allocating half a day to each class. This dual approach allows for a dynamic and comprehensive learning experience in both English and Chinese.

As a dedicated professional in our educational team, your main responsibilities will include:

Create a Safe Learning Environment:
Foster and maintain a secure learning environment that encourages children to work independently, ensuring their well-being and safety at all times.

Collaborate with Class Teachers:
Work in close coordination with class teachers to facilitate learning journeys and meticulously document children’s developmental progress, contributing
to a comprehensive understanding of each child’s growth.

Engage with Children:
Actively engage with children, providing guidance and support on their individual learning journeys. Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates and inspires each child to reach their full potential.

Team Collaboration:
Embrace a collaborative approach by actively participating as a valued member of our educational team. Contribute to a positive and cohesive work environment that promotes teamwork and mutual support.

Professional Development:
Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth by actively participating in ongoing training and development opportunities. Stay informed about current educational practices and pedagogical advancements to enhance your teaching skills.

Teaching-Related Responsibilities:

Teach English in Fuzhou

Fujian Province is a sub-tropical area in the southeast of China. The capital city, Fuzhou, is equidistant from both Shanghai and Hong Kong, making it a pivotal point in many large Chinese businesses. Fuzhou is warm all year round. There are countless temples, the most important being the Taoist temple at Gu Shan (Drum Hill). It has a library which ranks as one of the most important in the Tao religion. There are a number of great attractions in the city from night markets and modern shopping centers to fantastic restaurants with some of the best food in China.

Main Responsibilities

-Monday to Friday schedule 8:30 – 11:00 and 14:00 – 16:40
-Weekends off
-Create a safe learning environment that enables children to work independently
-Work in harmony with class teachers to keep learning journeys and record children’s development
-Engage with children to guide and help them on their learning journeys
-Be willing to work as part of our team and participate in professional development
-Carry out teaching related responsibilities and school events throughout the year

Compensation

-Excellent salary: will discuss when we receive your application, it will depend on qualifications and experience
-Accommodation allowance: 2,000 RMB per month
-Flight allowance: 8,000 RMB per year
-Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided
-National holidays and 1 day for Christmas
-Winter holidays allowance of 10,000 RMB and summer holiday allowance of 20,000 RMB plus accommodation

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree (Early Childhood, Education degree preferred)
-TEFL certificate 120 hours plus required (No TEFL? – We recommend INTESOL ) (no TEFL required if you have an Education degree)
-Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa
-Teaching experience is preferred but not required as we provide full training and support
-Culturally aware, motivated and passionate in teaching young learners
-Plenty of passion and energy
