CDL Class A Truck DriverLindamood Inc. is seeking a skilled and safety-driven CDL Class A Truck Driver to support heavy civil and demolition operations by transporting machines, equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites. This role operates combination vehicles and plays a critical part in maintaining jobsite productivity, schedule adherence, and operational excellence.This position is accountable to Lindamood Inc.'s guiding beliefs and core values—Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Teamwork—each built on the foundation of Integrity. Safety is not a priority; it is a condition of employment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers and combination vehiclesHaul equipment and materials using flatbed, lowboy, or equipment trailersTransport construction and high-reach equipment, including telehandlers (up to 10K), skid steers, backhoes, boom lifts, and jobsite materials such as lumber and rebarLoad, secure, chain, and bind equipment and materials in compliance with DOT and Lindamood Inc. standardsConduct detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsCommunicate with dispatch to ensure safe, efficient, and timely deliveriesIdentify, document, and report equipment damage, safety concerns, or mechanical issuesPerform minor vehicle maintenance and maintain clean, orderly equipmentMaintain strict confidentiality of all proprietary, confidential, or trade secret company informationComplete required administrative tasks, certification requirements, and safety trainingSafety and ComplianceFully responsible and accountable for personal safety and the safety of coworkers and others encounteredAuthorized and required to stop work immediately when unsafe conditions or behaviors are observedComply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT and FMCSA requirementsAdhere to all Lindamood Inc. policies, procedures, and safety expectationsPromptly report hazards, incidents, near-misses, or policy violationsParticipate in safety meetings, audits, and procedural reviewsFailure to comply with safety and compliance standards may result in disciplinary action up to and including terminationPosition RequirementsValid State-issued CDL Class A license with appropriate endorsementsMinimum three (3) years of Class A commercial driving experienceStrong knowledge of construction and demolition equipmentFlatbed, lowboy, and equipment hauling experience preferredLocal delivery and jobsite delivery experience preferredAbility to obtain and maintain all required DOT medical certifications and pass drug/alcohol testingBasic computer and electronic logging device (ELD) skills preferredPhysical and Mental RequirementsAbility to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to properly wear and utilize required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, respirators, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwearAbility to identify hazards, assess risk, and communicate effectively with field leadership and managementAbility to remain calm and respond appropriately during emergency situationsAbility to safely and promptly evacuate work areas when required
