Job Details Job Details: As a Fire Sprinkler Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our dynamic, growth-oriented construction company. This exciting and challenging opportunity will allow you to leverage your skills and experience in fire protection, plumbing, and construction to ensure the safety and security of our construction projects. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to design, estimate, and implement fire sprinkler systems that meet the highest standards of safety and effectiveness. Responsibilities: 1. Analyze blueprints, architectural drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for fire sprinkler systems.
2. Conduct risk and cost analyses, and prepare bids for projects.
3. Review data to determine material and labor requirements and prepare itemized lists.
4. Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on estimates.
5. Use advanced software tools like Bluebeam for drawing, calculations, and bid preparation.
6. Provide consultation on fire safety and protection measures, including the selection of appropriate sprinkler systems.
7. Evaluate and recommend changes that could improve the safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of fire sprinkler systems.
8. Ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards for fire safety.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all estimates, bids, and consultations.
10. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure expectations are met and projects are completed on time and within budget. Qualifications: 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Estimator in the construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, and extinguishing systems.
3. Proficiency in using estimating software and tools, like Bluebeam, and ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
4. Strong understanding of plumbing systems and their integration with fire protection systems.
5. Excellent mathematical skills for performing accurate calculations.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and contractors.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Knowledge of relevant fire safety codes, regulations, and standards.
9. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
