Our client, a dedicated organization in the food service industry, is seeking a Cook II to join their team. As a Cook II, you will be part of the culinary support staff, assisting in delivering quality meals and excellent service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining high standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook II

Location: Carthage, TX

Pay Range: $15.37 per hour

Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items
• Support meal service for lunch, dinner, and grill operations
• Learn and assist in multiple kitchen areas, including patient menus, retail food service, and salad preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Provide excellent customer service and work effectively as part of a team

What's Needed?

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills
• Ability to assist in various kitchen functions as needed
• Cleaning and sanitation responsibilities are a must
• Must be able to pass a background check
