Recruiter

Trystar Inc is seeking a Recruiter to support the company’s talent acquisition function in Houston, Texas. In this onsite role, you will manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions while partnering closely with hiring managers to source, screen, and advance candidates efficiently. You will also help strengthen recruiting process execution and candidate experience by using modern sourcing channels, maintaining accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and providing clear updates throughout each search. What you’ll do Own full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, from intake through offer and acceptance. Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, priorities, and candidate profiles. Source, screen, interview, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers. Coordinate interviews and support candidates in moving through the hiring process. Maintain consistent candidate communication to support a positive candidate experience. Use multiple sourcing methods, including LinkedIn Recruiter , job boards, employee referrals, networking, and other recruiting tools. Conduct proactive outreach to both active and passive candidates. Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs. Research and test new sourcing channels to expand candidate pools. Reduce reliance on external recruiting agencies through effective direct sourcing. Provide regular search updates, including search activity and candidate pipeline status. Help hiring managers understand market conditions, candidate availability, and recruiting challenges. Support consistent interviewing by providing guidance on candidate qualifications and process effectiveness. Gather timely feedback from hiring managers and candidates to keep searches progressing. Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition information in the ATS. Track recruiting activity and report progress, challenges, and hiring needs. Identify opportunities to improve the recruiting process and candidate experience. Represent Trystar positively throughout the process by communicating culture, career opportunities, and growth. Support employer branding and recruiting initiatives to increase visibility in the talent market. Create meaningful connections with candidates to build a strong pipeline, including when candidates are not selected for current roles. Complete other duties as assigned. What you’ll bring Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. 3 to 5+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience (agency experience preferred), ideally in a corporate, manufacturing, engineering, or other fast-paced environment. Experience managing full-cycle recruiting. Experience sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter , job boards, networking, referrals, or similar channels. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers. Ability to screen candidates and evaluate qualifications against job requirements. Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruiting technology. Experience with ADP Workforce Now (strongly preferred). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities. Self-motivated, proactive approach with urgency and follow-through. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment. Working knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment laws related to hiring. Manufacturing, engineering, technical, or skilled trades recruiting experience is a plus.
