Infrastructure Service Manager (IAM)

Position: Infrastructure Service Manager (IAM)
Duration: 1+ year contract with potential to extend and/or convert full-time
Location: Evanston, IL (Hybrid- onsite Tues/Thurs)

Hands-On Infrastructure & Operations Management: Operationalized, day-to-day management of enterprise IAM infrastructure-ensuring high availability, performance, and maintenance well beyond the OS layer down to the underlying system architecture.



Operational Maintenance & Continuous Service Delivery: Direct ongoing operational upkeep, system upgrades, and routine maintenance outside of traditional project cycles, while leading operational servicing teams to maintain SLAs and service reliability across the environment.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, stability, scalability, and performance of IAM platforms and supporting infrastructure.
• Lead operational maintenance activities, including system upgrades, patching, capacity planning, and preventive maintenance.
• Manage infrastructure components beyond the operating system layer, including application architecture, middleware, authentication services, and underlying system architecture.
• Oversee continuous service delivery while maintaining SLA compliance and operational reliability.
• Lead infrastructure operations teams responsible for monitoring, incident management, problem management, and change management.
• Coordinate production support activities and resolve critical infrastructure issues with minimal business impact.
• Develop and implement operational processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
• Collaborate with Security, Network, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams to support IAM initiatives.
• Monitor system health, performance metrics, and capacity to proactively identify operational risks.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and infrastructure resiliency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Drive automation and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management as required
