The nurse will work a rotating shift schedule of 12 hours from 7 AM to 7 PM. The contract duration is 13 weeks with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The nurse will float to other units in the facility as needed. The expected patient population includes adults and geriatrics with various medical and surgical conditions. Key responsibilities involve managing care for total joint patients, surgical patients, and patients with acute or chronic medical issues. Candidates must possess a compassionate and positive attitude, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. This role involves working on a telemetry unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. Equipment used includes IV pumps, bed and chair alarms, drug dispensing cabinets, and defibrillators. The electronic health record system used will be Medhost.
