This flexible opportunity focuses on providing dedicated support to a 3rd-grade student and collaborating closely with their family to coordinate sessions after 3:30 PM. The position offers a unique blend of short-term compensatory sessions and ongoing weekly intervention, centered on skill-building and meaningful progress. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP license in New Jersey
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Comfortable working independently and in coordination with families

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver 7 compensatory sessions (30 minutes each) focused on addressing identified skill gaps
• Provide ongoing direct therapy, once weekly for 30 minutes per session
• Collaborate with the student’s family to determine mutually agreeable times after 3:30 PM
• Maintain accurate documentation of each session and progress made
• Develop individualized strategies and support plans to foster student growth
• Align therapy objectives with school and IEP mandates
